3. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES
We may use various technologies to collect and store information when you use the Site and/or the App. This information may include how many visitors log on, the geographic location of such visitors, the pages they access, the browser they use, their IP address etc. We may collect such information by sending one or more cookies or anonymous identifiers to your computer or mobile device, by installing “web beacons” (also known as: clear GIFs, pixel tags) on our Site and/or by other means. We use the information collected from you through cookies and web beacons to make your visit to the Site more enjoyable and meaningful to you. 4. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Your email address will be used to send you service updates and notifications regarding your account, and (if you have elected to receive them using your account preferences) newsletters, marketing messages and certain email notifications. 5. HOW WE SHARE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED
Finding you and sharing within the Platform
The Platform offers many ways to find, enjoy, and share content, and we enable and encourage users to explore who else is using the Platform and their public profiles. Some of the information in your user account is publicly available to others by default, such as Facebook ID, profile picture, first name, last name and general location. We may use your public information to promote the Platform and to help others find you and/or your user account content, including through Facebook.

Sharing with Facebook
When you connect to the Platform using Facebook, you may choose a setting that instructs the Platform to share your activity and activity-related stories with Facebook, including the music you listen to. You understand that such information may be attributed to your account on Facebook and may be published on Facebook. See Section 8 below to learn how you can disable sharing of information on Facebook.
The Platform also enables you to share a particular item of content, on an individual basis, to other users by using the share functionality either on the Platform or on Facebook. Please note that sharing of such content on a Facebook may be posted as activity on Facebook, regardless of your account settings. We may store your username and an access token or similar credentials obtained from Facebook, so that you are able to share particular items of content, on Facebook, on an individual basis, without entering your access credentials again.
Sharing with Service Providers
In addition to the above, we may also share your information with third parties for these limited purposes:
You agree and understand that the privacy policies of the relevant third party with whom we share the information will govern all use of information that we provide to it or that it collects from you.
We may share your information, including, (gender, age, location), usage of the Platform and device information, in a de-identified and/or aggregated format, with business parties, advertisers and/or other third parties in order to analyze the usage of the Platform and/or services, improve the Platform and/or services we provide, market our services or for other similar purposes.
All information gathered on the Platform is stored within a database accessible only by us and by the third party vendor operating such database. However, as effective as any security measure implemented by us may be, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the complete security of the database. The servers containing your information would become accessible in the event of a security breach. In addition, we cannot guarantee that information you supply would not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. Also, transmissions via the Internet and mobile networks are never completely private or secure. Your password protects your user account, so you should use a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser, and sign off after having used the Platform. While we take reasonable data protection precautions, no security measures are completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of user information at any time.
We will retain your personally identifiable information until the earlier of (i) the information is no longer necessary to accomplish the purpose for which it was provided; or (ii) you delete your account through your account settings. We may retain your information for longer periods to the extent that we are obliged to do so in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and/or we reasonably believe that retaining the information is necessary to protect our legal rights or legitimate business interests. Even if you delete your account, it is possible that your information may still show up in some internet search results for a short while afterwards, if the search engine maintains a temporary cache of web pages. Search engines' caching processes are outside of our control and therefore we cannot be responsible for any information that remains cached by search engines after that information has been removed from the Platform.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Company is strongly committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children who visit the Site and/or use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 and neither the Site nor the App is directed towards or intended to be used by children under 13. We encourage all parents to talk to their children about online safety and to monitor their children’s use of the Internet.

The Site and/or the App may contain advertisements provided by third parties and may feature Third Party Applications and/or links to other websites. The Company has no control over the privacy practices or the content of such Third Party Application and cannot be responsible for them. We recommend you carefully read the privacy policies of each Third Party Application you visit or use.
10. CHOICE AND OPT-OUT PREFERENCES
If, at any time, you prefer not to receive further e-mail communications from us, you will have the ability to unsubscribe from such communications by means of a link provided in every broadcast e-mail that we send to you. If, at any time, you prefer not to receive any other form of communication from us, you will have the ability to unsubscribe from such communications by contacting us by email at email@example.com or by regular mail at Quarry Music, LLC, 1632 S. 11. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents have the right to receive, once a year, information about third parties with whom we have shared information about you or your family for their marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, and a description of the categories of personal information shared. To make such a request, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and please include the phrase “California Privacy Request” in the subject line, and provide us with your name, address and email address. We will respond to you within thirty (30) days of receiving such a request.
12. BROWSER DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Neither the Site nor the App supports Do Not Track at this time. Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference you can set in your web browser to indicate that you do not want certain information about your webpage visits collected across websites when you have not interacted with that service on the page.
